Sleepy Man Banjos is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We may also earn commissions from other retailers we link to. These commissions come at no extra cost to you, and they never influence our rankings or recommendations — we rank instruments on published specifications, setup quality and owner feedback.

What we collect

We use two analytics tools to understand which guides are useful. Ahrefs Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track you between sites. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies and records the pages you view, roughly where you are in the world, and which buy links you click — including which instrument the link was for, so we can see which recommendations people find useful. We do not sell personal data. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address only to send the newsletter, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits apart. Affiliate links may also set cookies from the destination retailer (for example Amazon) so that a qualifying purchase is attributed correctly. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and browser “do not track” or ad-blocking tools will stop our analytics from loading at all.
